Sample Codicil
When it’s time to update your will, you don’t have to start from scratch.
You can use a Codicil, an addition or supplement that explains or modifies your existing will.
The codicil should be executed with the same formalities as the original will.
This example codicil form is for educational purposes only, and does not constitute legal advice. It is recommended that you consult a qualified attorney, licensed in your state, to ensure that this form meets all legal requirements for your state.
